Sebastian Niemann

(B.D. 21 June 1968)

Niemann began in 1994 to study at the Academy for Television and Film Munich and was able to reap originated there with his short film, runner-up, the first international recognition by the Special Prize of the European Television Channels, won the part of the "International Festival of Fantasy , Horror & Science Fiction "in Brussels has been awarded. Together with Rainer Matsutani, he wrote the screenplay for the fantasy-comedy Over my dead body (1995) starring Katja Riemann and Christoph M. Ohrt and directed The mirror image, the third episode of the television Witching Hour (1997) with Jan Niklas and Corinna Harfouch in leading roles. After 1998 the ProSieben Sebastian Niemann directed mystery thriller Biikenbrennen - The curse of the sea with Christoph M. Ohrt, Anja Kling, where he first met with producer Christian Becker (then, teaming Indigo Film ').
